One of the reasons mnt bikers aren't allowed in the Rouge Park; soil erosion. The trails show wear from foot traffic and I think the City of Toronto could use some technical know-how from those out in Vancouver in sustaining wilderness trails. Though the Rouge River does eat away at it's banks with severe hunger. Many trails just drop off.....hell of a surprise when riding!
